Hi, I’m Chris. I run C M Door Services Ltd, an automatic door engineering business based in Darlington, working with clients right across the UK.
I set up the company in 2021 with a simple aim. I wanted to provide a level of service that clients can genuinely rely on. No fuss, no overcomplicating things, just honest advice and high-quality work carried out properly.
When you deal with us, you deal with me directly. That makes a difference. It means clear communication, quick decisions and a service that stays personal from the first call through to the job being completed.
Automatic doors are something we know inside out. Whether it’s a repair, servicing, maintenance or a full installation, we approach every job with the same mindset. Do it properly and do it safely.
One thing we take great pride in is our first-time-fix approach. If a door can be repaired there and then, that is always our aim. We understand that faulty doors can cause disruption, so we come prepared, diagnose the problem properly and work to get things sorted as quickly as possible.
Our expert engineers provide complete Automatic Door Servicing Darlington, ensuring your systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. If your doors develop a fault, we offer rapid-response Automatic Door Repair Darlington to minimise downtime and disruption to your business. We also provide planned Automatic Door Maintenance Darlington, helping to prevent costly breakdowns and extend the lifespan of your doors.
Over the years, we’ve found that clients tend to come back to us for the same reasons:
At the end of the day, our priority is simple. We want every customer to be completely happy with the service they receive. If the job’s been done properly and the client is satisfied, that’s what matters most to us.
I specialise in DDA compliant doors, supplying, installing, and upgrading them in line with the Equality Act 2010. My goal is to make buildings easier and more comfortable to access for everyone, including people with disabilities, reduced mobility, or visual impairments. I work across a range of properties, including shops and commercial units, offices, workplaces, education settings, and healthcare environments.
Accessible doors need regular upkeep to stay safe and easy to use. I can help by checking automatic systems, making sure access stays clear, and keeping everything working properly and in line with current guidance. For busier buildings, automatic doors can make access much simpler. These include sliding or swing doors with sensors or push-button control, along with built-in safety features to help protect all users.

Couldn’t be happier! The automatic doors look sleek and modern, and they’ve made access so much easier for customers. Brilliant job all around.
Really impressed with Chris. He helped us choose the right automatic door system and handled the installation smoothly. Super friendly and easy to deal with would use again & would recommend.

We recently had automatic sliding doors installed at our retail premises, and the difference has been fantastic. Customer flow is smoother, and the doors are quiet and reliable. Chris was knowledgeable and clearly experienced & great from start to finish. Thanks Chris
